If you're thinking of becoming a Foster Carer we put on regular introductory workshops and attend events so you can find out more about becoming a Foster Carer. 

There will be the chance for you to speak to staff or social workers about what it's really like being a Foster Carer and find out more about the process, what's involved for you and the benefits included.

If you’re part of the LGBTQI+ community and have thought about fostering, let’s clear up any doubts - you absolutely can!

The fostering team and a foster carer will be at Waltham Forest Pride from 3pm to 5pm, look out for us in our 'Local Community Fostering Waltham Forest' teal coloured t-shirts. We'll be talking to guests, answering questions, sharing information and some give aways!

Fostering Information Event

Tuesday 24 September, 11am to 12pm, VIRTUAL

Join us to discover how to become a foster carer in Waltham Forest.

Our session features a social worker from the fostering service and an experienced foster carer, who will guide you through the fostering process, including the application steps, available support, training opportunities and much more.

You'll also have the chance to ask any questions that you may have.
