Coffee Drop In

Come and have a coffee and face to face chat with the Waltham Forest fostering service and a foster carer. We can talk through any questions you have about becoming a foster carer, our local offer, and your personal circumstances.
Please drop in at any time between 10.30am and 2pm.
Fostering Information Event

Our informal online event is an introduction to fostering with Waltham Forest.
A social worker from the fostering service and an experienced foster carer will deliver a short presentation which includes details of our benefit package.
This will be followed by a question and answer session.
If you're thinking of becoming a Foster Carer we put on regular introductory workshops and attend events so you can find out more about becoming a Foster Carer.
There will be the chance for you to speak to staff or social workers about what it's really like being a Foster Carer and find out more about the process, what's involved for you and the benefits included.
