Foster Care Fortnight 2020

Foster Care Fortnight 2020 is from Monday 11 to Sunday 24 May.

All across the country Fostering organisations are running online events and activities for people like you to find out more about why fostering could be something you could do! This Foster Care Fortnight is like no other. These are challenging times for everyone. We are extremely grateful to all our foster carers who continue to provide support and care in a stable environment to vulnerable children and young people when everything around us has changed.  Shqiponja  shares her experience of fostering during the pandemic in a short blog.

We are passionate about how fostering a child can can transform the lives of young children, as well as changing your own life and want to help spread this message and encourage more people to apply to be a Foster Carer.

Most people become Foster Carers because they want to change the life of a child (or children), by offering a temporary home filled with love and support.

Could you make a difference to the life of a child in foster care?

To find out more this Foster Care Fortnight, please join our Virtual Coffee morning on Thursday 21 May at 11 am, please register.

If you are ready to apply please complete our enquiry form toward the end of the page.

We love the fun that the teenagers we have fostered bring to our home, we believe that they keep you younger. The best thing of course is the appreciation they eventually express.
